Learn how to pursue a ministry of excellence with children and their families.

The leaders of our world in 2045 are alive now and aged about 10.

When we get involved in ministry with children we handle the future of our churches, of our society, of our planet.

This carefully crafted intensive unit combines with the annual Ministry to Children Conference at Careforce 89 Monbulk Road, Mt Evelyn

Dianne Boon ministers with children at the Mornington Baptist Church. She also studies Children's Ministry at CCTC. She says,
This subject has been a highlight of my week! It has helped shape and clarify, from a theological basis, why I do what I do in Children's Ministry.

Learn how to outline a theology of the child and the implications for ministry with children.
Establish the case for family ministry as part of the church’s ministry with children.
Plan a strategy for a community-linked outreach based on family related ministries.
Relate positively and creatively to the spirituality of a child.
Identify ways that traditional thinking has shaped attitudes towards children.
Evaluate different approaches.

“The society that neglects its children is one generation away from destruction” (Margaret Mead)
Quality ministry with children does not place them on a pedestal—it simply treats them with the respect they deserve as bearers of the Kingdom (Mark 10:14)
